About
After playing 7 years professionally, I have been training baseball players since 2015 and currently operate a high end training facility in Mason, Alpha Baseball. We’ve had over 60 players advanced to college baseball with 35 of those players going to Power 5 schools. We currently work with clients from ages 8 all the way up to professional players helping them reach their goals. Our focus is on building proper movement patterns then developing both physical and mental skills that allow our athletes to thrive both on and off the field.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is a chance for me to talk to the player about instructors they might have used in the past and about what type of player they are. I will usually film them hitting from tee or throwing from mound and make some suggestions to see how coachable they are. I try to connect and make the lesson fun so they want to practice throughout the week before seeing me again for another lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done lessons for the past 10 years and have certifications to coach in Ohio
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids from age 7 to professional players.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event I think highly of is when a former player that I worked with made the phone call to me that he was just drafted and signed a professional contract.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that your player can connect with and that you are comfortable with. That player should be knowledgeable both physically and mentally. He should be able to build confidence and get the best out of your player.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Just think about what type of player you want to be and how much time and effort you are willing to put in. Baseball is a tough skills game and a lot of practice is required. My lesson is only an hour and if you are not putting time and effort into your skills outside of the lesson you will not be able to make the improvements that you might want to.
