Players I work with always understand the"why" behind everything they learn. I take the time to make sure they understand what they are doing and how it will make them a better player. I always help them learn the extra things you can do off the court or field that will make them stand out to their coaches.
I run my own business, 1st Five Sports Development, where I offer a very distinct type of hitting training. With all that I also coach a travel ball team that is currently 11U.
Teaching others, particularly children, is both a gift and my passion. I put everything into every kid I work with regardless of atheltic ability. I want to see each kid be better than they were when we started together. That is why I coach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every first lessons starts with an introduction to my program. This jncludes Goin over the pre-lesson routine that they will follow before every lesson. After which I will talk with the student, so that we can become comfortable and familiar with each other, and so that I can understand he/she's goals, where they think they are right now, and what they would like to see get better. This relationship will be the foundation on us being able to grow together. Next we will start swinging. This is to establish a baseline of where we are currently. I will also record these swings so that I can do a full evaluation after the lesson and begin to put together further lesson plans taylored for that student. At the end I will give the student and parent a homework should that outlines what we worked on, and what they need to work on specifically, both physically and mentally, until the next lesson.
