After playing the cello for over 16 years, and teaching for around 4, I have found a passion for teaching. I am absolutely comfortable teaching in any environment and to any age.
I am currently getting my BM at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. I was principle chair of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra for 4 years consecutively.
The cello has been one of the biggest parts of my life since before I have memories. I was reading music before I was able to read words.
No matter what stage you are currently at, we can build a road map together to continuously reach new goals!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First establish what stage they are at in their playing. Based off of this assesment we can build repertoire and practice schedules to make sure they are advancing everytime they sit down in the practice room!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing cello for 16 years. I have been teaching cello for 4 years. I am currently getting my BM at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and have been principle chair of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra for 4 years. I have experience teaching anywhere from kids at an advanced level, to college graduates at a beginner level.
