I teach on an individualized level, with a lesson plan specifically adapted to each student. I like to use external resources like movies, shows, and music to help students connect with the language on a personal level.
I love German! I see teaching as an opportunity to share a language that I'm excited about and to show others why it deserves their attention and excitement, too.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in German, and I have studied for multiple years on my own and with a private instructor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge a base rate of $30 for a 60 minute lesson. Different prices/lesson lengths are negotiable.
How did you get started teaching?
I work in theater as an actor and director, and I've been asked for multiple shows to serve as a German coach, to help make sure that actors understand what their lines mean and how to pronounce them convincingly.
