Empathetic Tutor

I have two major goals with every student I meet: break down difficult material according to their specific needs and imbue them with the confidence they need to succeed. There is NO SUCH THING as a bad student or a dumb question in my classroom.

I began tutoring professionally in 2013. Since then I have taught everything from teaching toddlers to read to 100+ student Organic Chemistry Classes. I teach all ages, grade levels, and abilities! I have personally helped students go from panicking before a test to calm and confident, thinking the will never learn to read to reading Junie B Jones independently, and from nearly failing to getting an A.

I am a remote tutor! I conduct lessons via Zoom and will teach anyone in the US! I teach:

Elementary - Reading, Writing, Spelling, Science & Math

Middle - Science & Math

Highschool - Chemistry & Math (up to and including multivariable calc)

College - Chemistry & Math (including organic and inorganic chemistry)

I have a lot of experience with learning disabilities both personally and professionally; I have ADHD and general anxiety. Meaning I fully understand what its like to go through school with a learning disability and mental health issues. I never want anyone to feel like they're going through school alone.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry with honors from Lafayette College, and will graduate with my Master's of Science in Chemistry in 2026! I'm also working on my Master's of Science in Cosmetic Science from the University of Cincinnati. I have won the Thomas B Cameron award for teaching excellence from UC and the American Chemical Society Division of Inorganic Chemistry Award.
