About
I love making Art and teaching how to make beautiful Art. For each student after meeting them I develop individual program to help with their needs.
In my Art studio in Mason, OH I do teach and work.
The beauty of making Art is very versatile and rewarding. It has the connections to all aspects of our life. Since I've remembered myself I was making all sort of crafts available for my age. Jewelry, knitting, crocheting, sewing, helping Mom to decorate Easter Eggs. I'm still envolved with some of these, but not so much as with painting.
I have a studio, where I work and teach. Drawing, painting in oil and watercolor, are among my classes. I also teach how to make Jewelry and decorate Eggs in Ukrainian style. The classes are programmed to achieve student goal, and are individual for each student.
I'm awarded artist, who participates in many Art Shows in tristate area. I belong to Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati, Brush and Palette Painters of Cincinnati, Arts Alliance Painters, Mason, OH.
Artist Ivanka -my Face book page has many of my paintings, and I love to share my Art with my friends.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For a new student I usually arrange a meeting before first lesson to get knowing each other. On this meeting we talk about their goals, how to prepare for the lessons, discuss the schedule, list of materials and tools, and any related questions student has.
This helps to figure out what exactly student wants to learn and we are ready to proceed to the lessons with an individual program for them
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Bachelor's Degree in Education and Lecturing in Math and Physics. Have been painting for more than 12 years. I love to paint landscapes, still lifes, portraits. My work has done in oil, pastel, acrylics, charcoal and pencils. Also I make jewelry and decorate Eggs in Ukrainian style. In Art I consider myself mostly self-taught, but I constantly take lessons and workshops from artists whose work I love.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My charge is $15-30 per lesson per student with their materials and tools
How did you get started teaching?
My teaching experience started when on one of my Art shows parents asked me to teach their child how to paint.
I also do workshops, shows, exhibits
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
Young, adult.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I won the best of the Plein Air Paint Out in Ripley County, IN in June 2022
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If your goal is to learn how to paint- don't wait until tomorrow, do it today! There is so much to learn, and making ART is so wonderful and rewarding, that there is no reason to postpone it any longer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think all kinds of questions they want to ask: what to prepare for the lesson, how to do this and that, what paint to use, e.t.c.
