I infuse a sense of meaning and humor behind art and love how a students ideas and style can strongly inform my teaching method for more effective differentiated methods of instruction.
Additionally, I have deep background in traditional art methods. I.E. drawing, painting, character design, fine art and illustration. I also have been using digital graphics programs and understand how traditional methods inform the digital world.
I life long passion for art since I was 4. I created my first original cartoon character at the age of four and still use it on occasion during class instruction.
I love seeing growth in my students. When I see that light of ignited fresh visual cognition lock into gear there is nothing like it. I approach my classes with an attitude that I plan to learn as much from my students as I give. This always keeps my classes and sessions exciting and full of surprises. That is what art is about, surprise!

I always like a solid introductory process. This is when I try to assess my students aptitude as well as get an understanding of the goals and what fundamental requirements are needed to achieve the goals. It is also important to develop a positive tone that allows for a serious study infuse with the elements that encourage passion for the work.
