Hi there!
I’m Alex, an extremely passionate and published photographer. I’ve been shooting religiously for over 8 years and there’s nothing else I can imagine doing.
Weddings are my absolute favourite thing to photograph but I also have experience in these areas:
- Behind the scenes photographer for a Tv show
- Family & portrait
- Fashion & styled shoots
- Branding photographer for small business
I could talk about photography and what goes into running a photography business all day. I’m super passionate about the “community over competition” mindset and I love helping others explore their passions. Whoever you are, I’d love to be your mentor!
1. I love how different my day to day is. I've never been the one to enjoy a 9-5 or any kind of monotonous schedule for that matter. I'm constantly meeting new people, going new places, and learning new things!
2. Each day I'm challenged. Lighting situations are always tricky; you have to learn to adapt. I'm constantly learning and improving my marketing techniques, editing style, and the ways I interact with clients.
3. MY CLIENTS. The whole reason I'm able to do any of this is because of the incredible people I work with. Most of them end up being lifetime friends!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. We will have an introduction phone call to discuss your needs, learning style, and schedule.
2. If I think we would be a good fit I’ll create a ciriculum and class schedule designed specifically for you! We will also discuss rates.
3. We start our one on one curated lessons!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard rates are $75 an hour.
Rates may vary depending on if we are doing a styled shoot, if models are involved, travel, etc.
