I gave my nine year old granddaughter photography lessons with Susan. While zoom lessons can be challenging, Susan found numerous ways to keep Sophie engaged and looking forward to each lesson with some homework assignments, fun lessons regarding lighting and even a craft project. Susan personalized the lessons and was well organized, responsive and most of all fun! Thank you Susan!

Working with Tazetta was a great experience. She is not only a talented photographer but a patient and informative teacher. I'd recommend her instruction and photo sessions to anyone.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I have a full curriculum for both children and adults.  I can teach from beginner to advanced lessons.  I start by getting to know where you are at in your photography journey and what questions you have and then I customize lessons to meet your needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Tazetta was founded over a decade ago, so I have a lot of photography experience to share.  I also have a degree in education, so I know how to teach and I know how to design curriculum that is both informative and fun!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

You can find more information (including pricing) on my website:  http://tazetta.com/new/product-category/education/

How did you get started teaching?

I received my B.A. in Elementary Education in 1988 and I have enjoyed teaching in some capacity ever since.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with both children and adults.  Photography lessons are perfect for kids, parents, grandparents, etc.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A great photography instructor should not only be someone who is very knowledgeable and experienced in photography, but also someone who is educated and experienced in teaching so they know how to effectively share their knowledge and love for photography with their students.
