About this pro

I am a former scholar Division I student-athlete at Xavier University. I played 1 season of basketball in grad school at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I have over 15 years of experience as a player, and 5 years as a trainer. In high school ESPN ranked me as a 4 Star player and top 100 players in Ohio. I played point guard and shooting for majority of my career. I played on the top AAU team in Ohio, and against the best around the world.

I learned early on in your career that basketball is as mental of a sport as it is physical. My main focus with my training program is to enhancing your skills (ie shooting, dribbling, defense, etc) , but increase your mental toughness for on and off the court.

I have training athletes who has picked the ball up for the first time to collegiate athletes. If you are interested in enhancing your basketball skill, increasing your confidence, and meeting your personal goals (on / off the court) contact me.

As an athlete I tore my ACL twice, and managed to return and earn a Division I scholarship. With that injury I learned your skills are only as strong as you are mentally.

I create drills that will allow players to enhance their skills. The drills are meant to teach athletes skills on the court that they can utilize in their daily interactions.

I love teaching my athletes leadership skills, communication skills, health & wellness tips, and mental toughness all while teaching them the game of  basketball.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I want to have a consultation with my player. So I can have an understanding of what the player goals on and off the court , what skills does he/she want to focus on, and this allows the player to learn more about me.

After the consultation I will create a program that fits the needs of the athlete. Depending on the goals of my athlete the program may include on court drills, at home drills, and nutrition information.

The athlete and I will then meet for training sessions to begin enhancing their game.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?

I am a former scholar Division I student-athlete at Xavier University. I have over 15 years of experience as a player, and 5 years as a trainer. In high school ESPN ranked me as a 4 Star player and top 100 players in Ohio. I played point guard and shooting for majority of my career. I played on the top AAU team in Ohio, and against the best around the world.

I realized the impact that basketball had on my life. In turn, my compassion for people lead to me working with athletes to improve their game and help mentor and guide athletes off the court. I want to help prepare athletes to reach their goals
