I am a classically trained musician playing upright and electric bass, and guitar. I studied guitar and composition at Berklee School of music. I play jazz standards on upright bass, R&B on electric bass and bossa nova on guitar. I have many years of experience working as a bass player in various styles, including jazz, latin, blues, R & B, soul, etc. My lessons include instrument technique, ear training, music theory. and how to transcribe songs including chords, melody and bass parts. My lessons are an hour and a half in duration in Cleveland Heights. I charge $50 for an hour and a half lesson (theory and practice). I recommend practicing daily for at least an hour and having a lesson every 2 weeks. I teach all aspects of popular music, r&b, latin, brazilian, motown, jazz, the Great American song book, gospel, blues, etc. Please note that I do not teach rock music.
