I work with all ages; children and adults.
I have been vaccinated against the COVID virus and am ready to begin offering classes again- preferably in your home, or if weather permits, out of doors at a park for example.
I love to help people have fun with art as well as build their artistic skills.
PLEASE NOTE - I will begin offering classes this summer. 2022. Please contact me in June for classes. Thank you for your patience!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A typical process for working with a new student would begin with an email and or phone call to discuss what sort of artistic pursuit the student is interested in. Once that is discussed the next step would be to discuss materials needed and scheduling thefisrt session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an artist who paints, draws, and from time to time does 3-dimensional work as well, has a BFA in studio arts, 1991, and has had many exhibitions. I've been painting for a long, long time. One thing lead to another and I became a teacher of students with visual impairments 7 years ago. I have a Master's Degree in special education~visual impairments and blindness. I teach students with low vision or blindness.
This is why I am offering classes in the summer, when school is out I have more time.
I work to make art accessible. I have experience with diverse populations and a love of art and love for helping people create it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Teaching art to students as a volunteer.

I've worked with elderly people, peers, children, typical and not so typical populations. I've worked with people with quadraplegia, autism, blindness, cognitive impairments, and more typical people with and without artistic experience.
