I seek to inspire others through art. By creating art, we create confidence in ourselves--confidence that follows us through all aspects of life.
Your art is your art--an instructor helps bring it out. Since I was nine I have worked in pastels--oils a few years later--then watercolors, sculpture...art has been my life's work. I received a BBA/marketing and a BFA/graphic design from Kent State University and worked as an art director and illustrator for two decades in the print/web industries. In advertising, I received nine Addy awards for outstanding visual communication. This professional experience helps me convey to you just how to apply the skills of art in the real world--knowing how to get noticed, use social media and the like.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I review their past work; listen to their interests and goals; sense what direction they wish to choose. I then put together a written outliine--a lesson plan--that shows them where best to proceed in lessons. This detailed plan is unique with my service.
