Renee Psiakis Photography

I have a MFA in Photography from Ohio University and have received numerous awards and grants for my work. I have been teaching Photography for over 30 years. I have taught at the Savannah College of Art & Design, Tri-C, the University of Akron, The Maine Media Workshops, and currently at a private girls school in the Cleveland area. I teach traditional “film” photography, digital photography, PhotoShop, Lightroom, and other adobe applications.

As a teacher, my goals are to help students find their unique voice and vision in the medium of phography as well as learn how to utilize technique to help them achieve their goals. My belief is that to fully understand a medium one must study the history and also work to educate themselves about current trends.
