If you or someone you know is interested in creating art or craft but you don’t know where to begin, I am here to help. My name is Adriel Meyer and I am a professionally licenced art teacher with over 20 years of experience. Whether you are interested in learning the basics of art creation like drawing or painting, or a more specific skill, I will guide you through whatever you are interested in learning.
Classes offered mostly on weekends but are geared to fit your schedule. Each class is typically two hours, one for students 10 and under. You may wish just to have help with a specific project or projects can be determined to build an artistic skill. Classes can be in person or virtual.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It's all about what the student is interested in learning. I can help with skill building, learning a specific technique or help create a specific project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am pk-12 visual arts licensed in Ohio. I have a BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art and an MA from Case Western Reserve University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 an hour with additional fees for materials as needed. class times range from 1-3 hours depending upon topic and age of student.
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching comes pretty naturally. I am from a family of teachers and it is what I was born to do.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught all ages from infants to seniors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
know your passion and what you hope to accomplish. I am happy to cater your lessons to what you desire to learn.
