BALLHAWKS focuses on developing skills that really translate to actual game play. The drills are all very focused, any mistakes sre corrected immediately with focused feedback and the environment is serious but also fun. Everyone is treated the same and there are no shortcuts allowed. You can see the skill difference after 1 session of training. Another great thing is that the staff help the young athletes develop life skills such as speaking to everyone when you enter a room, making eye contact and properly introducing yourself to people. Inwpuld recommend BALLHAWKS to anyone looking to develop their skills.

Coach Walker and his select coaches focus on the most important aspect of a younger player…skill development. Game play concepts are continually taught and always coached in an applicable manner. His standards are set high and he provides direction, coaching, and opportunity for players to grow in all aspects. Our son respects him and responds to his style of coaching.
He really enjoys the constant movement during the training…not a minute wasted. Extreme value for the cost.

BALLHAWKS is one of the highest quality basketball training experiences in the tristate area. They teach players to master the complex and foundational skills of basketball in a format that sets them up with the mental and physical tools needed to take their game as far as they want to take it. The coaches are very experienced and knowledgable and inspire the players to reach their potential. The skills are taught in a way that holds players accountable to the important details and habits that can help them become great players, team members, and students of the game. The drills are multi-step and immediately translatable to game scenarios. Unlike a lot of camps or clinics, the BALLHAWKS sessions are very high rep with lots of one-on-one feedback and instruction. BALLHAWKS is an excellent experience.

Jeremy is great at developing basketball players. He doesn’t skip any of the basics. He makes sure he not only is developing your players skills but he also makes sure that they are learning life lessons. He can train any level of player. He’s a fantastic coach and can really pull the best out of who he is training. I highly recommend Ballhawks program.

Coach Walker is EXCELLENT! We have had many basketball coaches for our four kids over the years. I reached out for our youngest to get training over the summer. This coach is fantastic. His practices are packed with solid fundamentals and at a great pace. Our son has learned so much already after only a few sessions. Wish we had found him sooner!

    Frequently asked questions

We generally bring all players in for an evaluation. I try to get all players to share their short/long term goals with us so that we have an understanding of their mindset. After evaluation we make recommendations about the number of sessions per week and what the focus will be relative to the players abilities.

    Our pricing is $50 for 90 minutes of instruction & $75 for 1 on 1 (60 mins).

I worked for a few years as an assistant trainer under Stan Kimbrough (NBA player & Xavier hall of fame)

I have worked with trainees of all ages, skills and interest levels. Highly competitive environments to beginners. I helped to develop professional players as well as College athletes.
Most recently am very proud of a group of young men @ Mariemont High school who finished their Senior Year making a run to the District Final. These are kids thar I've personally trained since 4th grade. Im also honored that every year for the past 15 or so I have the pleasure of attending Grad parties of young people I have impacted through basketball
Look for a person who enjoys what they are doing. Ask them questions like "Why have you chosen to become a trainer" & " what separates them from other trainers". Realize that the time you spend under their leadership may be impactful in all areas of your life. This person is a mentor, role model, educator and extension of your parenting community in many ways.
Each student should do some self-evaluation before selecting a trainer. Decide how much time you are willing to invest based on your personal goals. Even the best trainers are limited due to the amount of time we are able to spend with each trainee. This is very much an exercise in personal initiation. How much are you willing to change to become the player/person you dream of becoming.
