My private lesson teaching has been contiuous for over 20 years now. Integrated with the traditional styles is a foundation in music theory, the key to the kingdom for ear playing and composition.

I am a Jazz Performance 5th year at Ohio State University. I have studied and played shows in different genres including classical, pop, hip hop, jazz, Motown, musical theater and more! Accomplisments include opening with a band for Bruno Mars in 2017. I love teaching and look forward to meeting you! Howdy! I am a licensed music educator in Ohio, where I have taught music for now 6 years! I am currently a middle school band teacher so I have lots of great tips and tricks for beginner students as well as more advanced advice for students looking for a challenge on just about every instrument.
