I've been instructing students in the 2D Fine Art mediums for 15 years. Acrylic and watercolor are my favorite. I paint all portraits in oil, so i'm versed in it but don't choose it otherwise!
I teach realism. I can teach impressionism and abstract but if you don't have an understanding for realism, this can be a challenge for both student and teacher.
My instruction is different from most. I use reference photos of your choice and move you through a process that takes the guess-work out of maling art. My students gain more than a work of art. Included in my teachings is confidence, perseverance, and goal-achieving among other life skills.

Everyone is fantastic! My girls have learned and grown as artists so much. They challenge themselves and have pride in what they create. I love how their teacher can help direct them on technique even through zoom. I also love that I have the ability to move their class time and day if our schedule has a conflict.
