Jay DiMasso has been teaching Photoshop, photography and design since 1999. I have a Masters degree in education with a focus of fine arts in multiple intelligence and a bachelors degree in business and computer education and I am an adjunct professor at a local community college for photo & Photoshop.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find out their current skill level so we don’t spend time going over content they really know. Determine the proper scope and sequencing to reach the desired learning outcomes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have a bachelors degree and a Masters degree in education focusing on computer and fine arts. I have a multimedia endorsement from the state of Ohio and an adjunct professor for college credit plus courses in Photoshop and photography.
I’ve ran my own business and shooting photography and video since 2004.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is reflective based upon the amount of content desired and the amount of time needed to reach your desired learning goals. Some students have mentored and work with me for over two years.
How did you get started teaching?
Enrolled at the University of Toledo and achieved a degree in education. I found my passion teaching photography Photoshop video and design.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students ages 15 to 60 both male and female with all ranges of skill level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am currently a mentor for a Bowling Green State University digital media arts students internship.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be ready to learn and take your skills to the next level. I can show you how to take the investment money spent with me and turning into a real profits .
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have a realistic idea about their current skill set and understand what they desire their skill set to be.
