Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each client begins with a 60 minunte consultation. This allows us to get to understand them as they get to know us. There are a lot of questions being asked and answered during this hour. :-)
During the consultation we are able to help put together a plan for our clients. This will typically involve determining if we are the right fit for them, helping them select the services and professionals who will best serve them regarding reaching and maintaining their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our personal trainers have a minimum of a bachelors degree in their field, in addition to maintaining high level training certifications (NCSA, ACSM, NASM, ACE or Brookbush). We all participate in continuing education in order to hone our skills pertaining to our clients physical and emotional well being.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our new client special allows for new clients to train 1-on-1 for as little as $25 per session (up to 8 sessions).
Beyond that there are 1-on-1, pairs, small and and large group training options ranging from $150 to less than $20 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
Troy studied under a master fitness trainer during his time in the Army, then trained part-time while in college. By the late 90's he realized he had the passion and skills to make training clients a career. Zoe began working at gyms in her youth. She later lead group classes before returning to school to become a licensed physical therapist. Her passion for lifestyle change led her to weight loss and wellness coaching in 2003.

Just about every type. Our team works to help all populations, from elite athletes to those looking to lose 100+ lbs to seniors. Our mission is to help them all create a healthy lifestyle which makes fitness fun and prioritizes self-care.
