Stylie Music Studio

Stylie Music Studio

About

Our approach to teaching is non-traditional. We focus on the students wants and needs. All lessons are taught through songs, while addressing proper technique. Music should be fun and that's most important, especially in the early stages.

We enjoy watching students development and grow! It’s very satisfying to watch a musician play and know somewhere in there, we had a hand at helping making them great!

Frequently asked questions

Most students are very young when they start and parents always want to be sure their child is going to stay interested. We start with a set of 4 introductory lessons for a low cost of $50.

We feel four lessons is enough time to get a feel for their learning style. We like to give parents the assurance their child will want to continue learning before investing a lot of money.

We offer this same introductory rate for adults as well. A beginner is a beginner, whether 6 or 72 yrs old.

Matt Steidle started teaching music lessons in his early 20’s after graduating with Music Technology and Music Performance on classical and jazz guitar.

At the age of four he began piano lessons, and at age seven, switched to guitar. Matt learned rock and blues all through elementary through high school.

Matt teaches piano, guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, mandolin, vocals, music production and theory.

Matt trained the other teachers, Mark Rhodes, Nick Purcell and Darlene Kalb, upon starting at Stylie Music Studio, to ensure a consistent style of teaching that he believes makes what Stylie Music Studio has become today.

Not only have these individuals learned the Stylie Music Studio approach, they have also had their own training in different schools. Learn more: styliestudio.com

Over the years his experience has helped many individuals come to their goal of playing their instrument.

All types of people have come through the doors. All are welcome and we love giving the gift of music to everyone.

Matt has had the pleasure to perform in many different situations. Recently Matt was able to work with Rock n Roll over brain cancer and perform a great benefit to raise money for research into brain cancer.

He also works with the Worthington Partnership performing and helping for the different events the Partnership brings to Worthington, OH.

He also works with the Worthington Chamber of Commerce and helps with The Taste of Worthington . Helping get musicians involved with the community.

We also offer a quarterly Open Mic for our students to have an opportunity to perform.

Make sure the teacher is able to adhere to the students personal tastes, but also have the knowledge and skill to use the proper tevhniaques involved for longevity in playing their desired instrument. This helps to decrease the possibility of injury later in life.

No question is a bad question. We are here for you. We will give you all of the information you would need to move forward with lessons. We are human, so you should never hesitate to ask questions. :)
