What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to meet them and see where they are and what needs to be improved. Then set up drills to begin helping the athlete to become better
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience as a teacher and coach. I have worked with several college and professional athletes as well as 1 Olympic hopeful in track and field. Several former students and athletes have gone to be successful in college as well as the NFL ,and CFL. Many of them have been on championship winning teams
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
i am new to this so I will be researching the pricing. I want to be fair and competitive I also want to be affordable to many athletes.
How did you get started teaching?
My grandma and mother were teachers. I liked sports and played them starting when I was 7 years old. When I realized I was not gonna be a professional athlete I decided to teach and coach athletes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with younger athletes in recreational and CYO leagues as well as high school and middle school athletes. I Lao have a year of experience working with the University of Akron Football team
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of seeing my former athletes succeed. Recently four them have become champions at the NCAA MAC indoor Championships
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
look for someone who is honest and listens to your needs. Also that they show an interest in helping you improve and succeed
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Questions like
How do I become a better hitter?
What is wrong with the what I am doing.

Are all great questions to start and build off of. The athlete and parents must also be aware that not everyone has pro potential and that practice and repetition is vital in becoming better
