Now about me.

Besides coaching collegiate soccer last fall,

I have over 30 plus years coaching high school sports. I have experience in doing team camps and individual training as well. I have experience in coaching Division 1 & 2 boys varsity soccer and currently an assistant coach at Wittenberg University. My resume also have me coaching baseball for 20 years with big programs from Freshmen level to asst varsity.

I love to give back to kids as growing up in the 7s, there were not many trainers to help kids develop.

My business stand out because i'm detailed oriented to assure the athlete I train gets a lot out of my training.

I use many methods used by all coaches in the sport of baseball and soccer and my experience in coaching and playing helps tremendously.

    Frequently asked questions

I assess what is deficient in their abilities and formulate a lesson plan. I’m a firm believer in fundamentals in any sport. As a coach, I  have to harness what they have and help them attain their desired goal. There are no guarantees any athlete will be better after individualized training—but they can improve with hard work.

This is my 32 year coaching high school sports. I was a two sport athlete in high school (baseball and soccer). I played collegiate soccer in West Virginia and after college played Senior Mens competitive soccer. At the same time I’ve coached high school soccer in the Freshman, JV, and Varsity levels.

Im a former coach at Archbishop Alter high school and Prior to Alter, I was the head boys varsity soccer coach at Bishop Fenwick high school.

For baseball, I am the former Freshmen head boys coach at Centerville high school. Prior to Centerville, I was at Miamisburg high school as the head freshmen coach. I’ve also coached at Kettering fairmont high school as the freshmen head coach, JV head coach, and the Varsity assistant.

Typically I go $40.00 for and hour and half. You will get detailed instruction in every session. Many times the session is high impact, that we go over time. I have no issue if we go over the allotted time.

I started doing individualized training since 1987. That was my inaugural year coaching and it all fell to place. I’m soccer I referreed and was a coach for  Ohio-South ODP Olympic Development Program for several age groups. I’m baseball I did team training  which was such a good time.

My students have ranged from high school age to 12 years old. I coached mostly boys but have coached a high school girls and an elementary girl.

I train them the same way as the guys...

one session I had six students at one time working with me. They were enthusiastic about the session that after we were done-even past the allotted time , they didn’t want to leave and were asking their parents when will they come again. That was heart warming that kids were pumped. I also enjoy when parents come and watch like they were watching a game. I don’t mind that they take videos or pics and use it for their own use-as long as the kids learn, that’s is my gauge for success.

My advice, get someone that has some background years in their respective sport. Find someone that is enthusiastic and wants to teach. Yes some young guys in their twenties are good but most still lack “the coaching “ aspect because truly they are still players in a sense. I’m a special Ed teacher and I deal with many kids and I know how to read them. You need a trainer that can read the kids body language, attitudes, and frustration levels if they can’t do what you are teaching them. Veteran trainers are able to be able to see that and adjust their sessions to help ease the situations.

    1. What your their ultimate goal?

    2. Are you coming to me because you want to learn and improve your skills?

    3. Can you bring a friend to train with you (not on lessons.com) to ease any nervousness you may have?

    4. Are you ready to work HARD to obtain results you are looking for?
