Goal-rilla Soccer

I’ve been coaching youth soccer for over 20 years at the recreational and competition levels. In 2020 I moved to Lebanon Ohio and started the local nonprofit SAY Recreation soccer program that has grown from 60 kids to over 400 today including the expansion into competitive soccer.

The goal for both programs was to provide youth in the local area a low cost but high quality soccer experience. Many of our players may not have been able to afford to play otherwise. I am still involved in the program as both a coach and board member.

My coaching style involves teaching proper technique in a positive environment that promotes hard work while having fun playing the “game”. If a kid can’t have fun and enjoy it, what’s the point?

I provide individual training (parent must be present), as well as small and large groups. I can also provide position specific training and can train/mentor parents new to coaching soccer.

My personality is laid back and easy going and push players to work hard in a positive manner.
