Basketball drills and teaching from a proven trainer that translates to real-game situations and personal player development. Been taking my son to Lionel for the past 8 years and he had helped him land a college basketball scholarship. Toledo’s best!

My son Cai has been working with L.A.B for the past 7 years. Lionel is a very organized, caring coach who expects nothing but great effort from his athletes at all times. I have never felt that my money was being wasted and his expertise and knowledge of the game has helped my son tremendously! He has been strict with my son from the beginning but has ALWAYS made sure that it comes from a loving place. If you live anywhere near the city of Toledo and you want your son or daughter to get better at being a better student athlete, Lionel is worth every penny!

    Frequently asked questions

New students typically go through a fairly broad training session the first visit in order to be assessed to get an idea of strengths and weaknesses.

I am currently a P.E teacher and strength and conditioning instructor. I'm also the head boys varsity basketball coach at Emmanuel Christian School.

I've worked with several college basketball players that all started with me at a young age and worked hard to earn college basketball scholarships.
