Advanced Velocity Baseball Training
About
My name is Nolan McCutcheon. I have played baseball from the time I was 3 years old all the way up through college. I signed with the University of Arkansas out of high school with some attention from MLB scouts in high school. I have experience training with Driveline and the Core Velocity Belt. I was a LHP I topped out at 94mph. My whole life has been dedicated to learning the mechanics of pitching and not listening to old school wisdom but watching and analyzing all of the hardest throwers of today and learning how they do it. I have took multiple pitchers from 85mph to over 90mph in just one lesson. How I train my pitchers is not just to come throw a bullpen like you have every other time. I do not hold my pitchers back and tell them to "locate" every time I see you we will work on developing the skill of throwing hard first, then I will show you how to control it and to pitch with it. The favorite part of my job is seeing my pitchers faces when they see the numbers on the radar going up.

How did you get started teaching?
I've always loved playing the game but I love teaching it just as much. I've spent my whole life studying the game and mechanics of pitching and throwing hard. I've worked with a few of my teammates while in college and then started teaching younger pitchers as well with great success. Most of my teammates would have me do private lessons with them after practice instead of working with our coach. That just kind of showed me the ability I had to communicate to players and teach them how to throw hard.
