About
As a teacher of acrylic painting, I am not fancy. I believe that art is a great outlet and/or just a fun thing to do, wether it be a hobby or career. It brings challenges that when accomplished is very satisfactory. I love painting portraits and landscapes in a variety of styles. You tell me your goals and I will do my best to give you the tools to get there.
I desired to be an artist ever since childhood and, began my career as a professional artist in 2007 after I apprenticed for Artistic License Design Group for 2 years. My husband and I began Artists At Large in 2015. Together we have painted many signs, murals and logos in the state of Oklahoma.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk with the student to see what their interests are for subject matter. Depending on the level of the student I will ask beginners to play with paint and brush first. This serves as an ice breaker and muscle memory builder.
