Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After introducing I ask the students to paint a certain thing and try to get a picture of what level my student(s) are, the whole class will depend on that.
I explain and show in steps how to paint whatever is the subject of the class. While students paint along I like to do hands on ttraining and make sure they can paint it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been enjoying drawing and painting my whole live. At the age of 20 I took several watercolor classes over several years, then practiced acrylic painting and finally studied Art in Switzerland from 1997 till 2003. I started face painting in 2005. I learned in books, classes and lots of practice. Since 2015 I've been teaching face painting myself and I am one of the best face painting Artists in the USA (worldwide actually).
I've been teaching in St. Louis, Dallas, Arizona, New Jersey, at Kapital kidvention DC and since a few weeks there is a face painting class with me teaching one stroke flowers available on FABA TV. (Fabatv.com)
This year I plan in teaching in Chicago, St. Louis and probably East Coast.
