I love teaching one on one with students. I have been teaching private lessons for over 20 years. I have taught in private and public schools. I have an Oklahoma teaching certificate for vocal and general music K-12. I would love to give your child loving, caring lessons in voice, music theory and piano.

I love it when my students are progressing and I watch them learning. I love answering questions and challenging them and encouraging them! I love it when I see the progress a student has made and how surprised they are by their own progress.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to get to know them by asking questions about them and their hobbies and schedule. Then I assess their skills and we make a goal together of what they want to accomplish.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with Major in General Music Education.

How did you get started teaching?

I taught private lessons while in college. It was a great way to gain teaching skills AND teach students to play the piano and sing while getting to know them and help them reach their music goals.

I have worked with students from age 4 to 75.
