What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A student's first lessson generally consists of an interveiw to find out what they want to accomplish in lessons, which is then followed up a a demonstration of skills to determine where we will start. Lesssons are geared toward what the student's goals are. If they want to play jazz we work on improv, classical we focus on reading, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Music from Oklahoma Baptitst University, a Bachelors in Music Therapy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and a Masters of Music Composition from Oklahoma City University.
