My service teaches a step by step instructions of how to create projects in art. So students can see how and where to start on their own. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I access students artistic skills, experience and knowledge and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BA in Art Education and working on a BA in Home Economics. I have 27 yrs experience in teaching beginners in art, crafts and sewing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge sixty dollars for three hour sessions. The three hours do not have to be taken all at one time if you prefer not to have class for that length of time. I set class up like a studio environment as you would take a college course in any art form. Usually an entire painting can be completed in one session. I teach step by step instructions in order to demonstrate the proper way to complete a composition from start to finish in order to build that skill in my students, so they can at one point fly solo. I do take on groups, individuals, private lessons,, home school groups, women's ministry groups, teams and office parties for fun.
