As a Rodeo Photographer I see the need to share and teach what I have learned as I have photographed Rodeos Professionally for over 40 years. I offer Rodeo Photography Schools at actual Rodeo Schools allowing my students to learn more about Rodeo and to photograph actual Rodeo events and learn how to use lighting and light and the action to create amazing images. I am a member of both the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Assoc. and The Professional Photographers of America. I love the amazing Animal and Cowboy and Cowgirl Athletes and capturing a moment in time that can never happen again. History is also captured in my images. I have photographed Rodeo Greats such as Lane Frost, Donnie Gay, Freckles Brown and so many that are part of Rodeo Present and Rodeo History.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introducing my photography students to the inside of Rodeo Photography. Beginning with covering gear and basic lighting. After photographing some of the action we discuss the images and I can see strengths and weaknesses and allows me to correct and or increase the image quality and capture of action.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 40 years as a Professional Photographer specializes in Rodeo. Many years of experience with photographing using film and a darkroom and processing and printing all of my images. Now with Digital many years of learning the techniques of this new way of photography and love sharing my many techniques both inside the camera and in the photo software today.
