I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY! I got my first camera when I was 12. I developed my own film and made my own black and white prints. Fast Forward to today - I enjoy all digital equipment and I understand each step involved in photography really well. On top of that I used to teach college classes and was a business consultant almost 10 years. I believe that I can deliver knowledge in a concise and easy to understand manner.
I love to see faces of people when I deliver my images to them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to understand wht the sudent know, what equipment he/she has and what is the purpose of photography class for the student.
This way I can taylor my classes to meet specific needs of the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree, I used to teach college classes, I have taken TONS of photography classes, I am a member of Professional Photographers of America

there are two ways I can help:
1. Comprehensive course - from A to Z
2. Specific aspects of photography - such as how to use TTL or off-camera flash, etc.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at the teachers portfolio, see if you like their images and style, if they speak to you - it could be a good match for you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time do I have available for the classes?
Do i have time to practice what I learn?
