About
Passion drives everything we do. You cant appreciate where you are going until you love the reason why you want to get there. Our motto is to dream big, act bigger.
The one-on-one commitment to ensuring your student is in sync with the internal and external goals both short-term and long-term isn't just about coaching, it's about a battle and experience I've gone through as an underweight, under-estimated athlete my entire life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to get to know the passion a student has for their sport and their goals. If a student doesn't have goals, we walk through what it takes to commit to an objective, setting achievements, and working towards them. Competing is one of the most mentally and physically rewarding things a young athlete can do, but first and foremost, they have to have fun. We will work together to find the reason why they enjoy competing and how to turn that into winning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played basketball, baseball, and football from 5 years old until high school before giving them all up to commit towards my goal of winning the state championship in my newfound love of wrestling. I finished my wrestling career 151-34, with 117 pins. I was a 2X state finalist, 1X state champion, and 2X National All-American. I wrestled for the University of Oklahoma for two years before cutting my dream short to focus on another dream in business.
Since then, I have coached on and off for both team and individual training. I am a blue belt in BJJ, a 2X 2021 NAGA Champion, and 1X IBJJF Bronze Medalist. I continue to train and work towards advancing my skills and love on the mat both in practice and competition to this day.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing structure is as follows:
Wrestling, submission grappling -- $60 per lesson
Basketball, baseball, football -- $50 per lesson
Weight Mgmt/Conditioning -- $40 per lesson
Prices are negotiable based on availability and bulk booking.
How did you get started teaching?
I have helped coach athletic camps ranging from ages 4-22 for over two decades. I've helped coach one-on-one as well as manage and facilitate athletic camps exceeding 1,300 students.
In addition, my work in the nonprofit industry with Earth Rebirth for over ten years has included working thousands of hours hands-on with students of all ages and classes of all sizes. I am very experienced in dealing with a variety of adolescent personalities, learning levels, and commitments.
What types of students have you worked with?
Most of my one-on-one training has targeted middle school or high school students committing to one sport (largely wrestling).
As mentioned above, I have also worked extensively with students of all ranges including special education, learning disabilities, physical impairment or disabilities, and much more. NOTE: I do not have any special certifications for my work with these groups of students, but I have worked over 200 hours with groups of special needs students over ten years.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
2021 Dallas NAGA Champion, I won my finals match in 3 minutes.
2021 OKC NAGA Champion, I won my finals match in 0:08 seconds.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Focus on how in tune they make you feel about your journey and goals, not just how accomplished they make you feel after practice.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why, why, why? What is your why? Why do you want to do this? Why is it important? How much does it matter? What are the long-term benefits if you accomplish your goals, both internal and external?
