I love watching players progress and catch on to drills they are struggling with. I love to see the improvement over time compared to when they first started. I also love to see the look on their face when they accidentally do something in a game that they have been working on. Which means, there are no accidents if you are prepared. I love developing players and making the game, hopefully easier for them. There's nothing better than a player who went from not sure of themselves to extremely confident.

Rodney planted the foundation for my entire ball handling skill set. When I first started working with Rodney in 4th grade I had no moves. He single handedly built the foundation from the ground up. Also helped me form my jump shot and many other skills. He was also an incredible mentor off the court when I was young and has always been a life long friend. I recommend Rodney regularly to kids and I mention him in interviews weekly as I tell them about my story and how my skills came to be.

I like the way he teaches and how he personally shows you the drill and what you’re getting out of the drill.

Rodney is a basketball sensei! When I was entering 7th grade, I started working with Rodney once a week. Those sessions gave me a huge foundation to work with, and they set up the skills I needed to hone during the days between sessions. He gave me tangible plans to work on in my own time - ball handling workouts, shooting drills, and skill development challenges. My game was transformed by his direct teaching and the tools he gave me to work on my own. My journey from last player selected on my freshman team to All League HS player to All League Collegiate player to Overseas Professional player was shaped by Rodneys teaching and input. Im forever grateful and highly recommend his services.

I am fond of lots of events. One particular thing I am proud of rather is that when a former and still current student, The Professor (Grayson Boucher) gets asked about telling his story , he always includes me saying he can't complete the story without telling the beginning.

I would say look for someone who is going to explain why you are doing or working on a particular drill. A good instructor should know the possibilities and reasoning behind why they do what they do.
