I have taken both in field and post processing sessions with Daniel. I can’t speak highly enough about his teaching style and his extraordinary knowledge. Daniel specifically addressed issues that I was having, and not only explained how to do something but why. Daniel broke completed concepts into simple concepts that I am able to fully understand and implement. In field, Daniel helped further my understanding of composition, and taught me how what we did in field would translated into our post processing lesson. Daniel’s lessons have given me the confidence to implements new techniques. Thank you!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin by finding out my students goals, learning style, and current skill level to tailor my lessons to their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught photographer that has taken online and text courses from numerous proprofessio photographers in both portrait and landscape photography.
How did you get started teaching?
I actually have a bachelors degree in Education. Photography was a hobby that eventually turned passion and I was able to meld the two together.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners who are just learning basic functions of their camera to more skilled photographers capturing the night sky including the milky way.
