About
I'm a music teacher with many years of teaching and performance experience. My specialty is string instruments and piano!
I especially passionate about developing beginner students and giving them a great foundation.
Ive performed on violin, viola and cello in a number of orchestras and ensembles both in USA and overseas.
I hold music teaching licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and have taught extensively string orchestra, choir, band, piano and general music in the public schools.
I enjoy seeing students develop a lifelong love of music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I access the goals and reasons for instrument. Then a determination about basic music concepts and general music knowledge and interests are determined. From there a plan of study is put together tailored to the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Music education certified in Pennsylvania. A masters in music education is nearly completed. Masters in teaching English with 15 years experience and 6 years of teaching music.
