I am absolutely smitten with all thins photograhy. Now that I'm alittle older and wiser, my desire is to mentor those who are wanting to learn the craaft.
I love to see the faces when new students see what stunning image they can create with just a few tweaks and armed with inof as to why that works and another doesnt.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Let's get comfortable as we begin to assess your current skill level and devise a plan as to what you would like to learn and we then put it into action. You're the boss, I work for you.
But on the other hand, I am very passionate about mentoring and love to make you shine! We systematically add new skills each session, and I give you a homework assignment to photography or edit something in Photoshop, depending on what the gig is for.
Basically I want to encourage you to put into action what you have just learned. The more senses one uses the better the retention! I want you to be better than I when all is said and done, depending on your intentions when we begin.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4-yr Bachelor's degree in Photography and Graphic Design. I have been involved in photography since high school, developing film and prints under a red light with very smelly chemicals!
I have tons of experience, you name it I've probably shot it. Well, within the US anyway! Have managed several studios and labs over the years and love what I do!
I built my own studio and one-hour photo lab a few yrs back and was awarded Best Female Photographer in Wisconsin in 2015.
In 2016, I was named Best in Customer servicce, so rest assured, you are working with a professional here. I am very conscious of budgets and passionate about Photography and using Photoshop, etc, so my rates are set so as not to break the bank, If what I've taught improves your skills feel free to tip but never necessary nor expected. Just nice to get a bit of a bonus when my students get it right!
