About
I do what I do well because I love what I do. In addition to many years of experience in my creative pursuits in art and music, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education so I also enjoy teaching what I do. My method stands apart from the rest because I know that every student has different goals, experience and abilities so each one is tutored with a unique, individual plan designed especially for them. I don't use a "one size fits all" assembly line template.
I make a living doing what I would be doing for fun in my off time (if I had any) so in that sense I don't work. I get paid to play. I love being able to see others eyes glow and their hearts swell with pride after creating something that is born out of them. Creative learning is a never ending process and one that empowers every other part of our lives and our personalities. If I can play at least a small part in that for someone else, it brings me great joy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I do is simply ask to talk so I can find out what the student wants to accomplish and what they have done in the past. Everything else is based on that conversation because there is no single "one template fits all" process for creating art. Each student receives individual attention that is unique to their goals, personality and abilities. After this conversation, I assess whether or not I can be a mentor that is able to provide value to the student and the potential student can decide whether or not they wish to study under my tutelage.
