Meet Brenda K. Lee
Love to Sing. Learn to Sing. Love Your Voice.
With more than 20 years of experience in vocal teaching and professional performance, Brenda K. Lee brings knowledge, creativity, and a genuine passion for singing to every lesson. Her teaching philosophy is simple: LOVE to SING. She believes learning to sing should be fun, engaging, and empowering — while giving every student the tools to develop a healthy, confident, and expressive voice.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a teen preparing for a musical theater audition, an adult rediscovering your love of singing, or an aspiring professional, Brenda will meet you where you are and help you reach your vocal goals.
A Lifetime of Singing and Performing
Brenda’s musical journey has taken her from Wagner College in New York, where she studied musical theater, to the University of Rhode Island, where she pursued classical voice training. Her professional performing career has brought her to breathtaking venues around the world, including resorts and seaside venues in Greece, as well as theaters and castles, where she has captivated audiences with her powerful and expressive voice.
Throughout her career, Brenda has had the privilege of performing alongside talented artists, including renowned jazz guitarist Frank DiBussolo. She also studied with acclaimed arranger and composer Russell Faith and earned first-place honors in Talent America competitions. Her performance credits include appearances on Tony Grant’s Stars of Tomorrow in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as well as filmed musical productions for local television.
Continuing to Grow as a Vocal Educator
Brenda believes great teachers never stop learning. She continually expands her knowledge of contemporary vocal pedagogy through private training, group masterclasses, and ongoing professional development.
She has studied with Alexis Cole, a renowned jazz vocalist and educator who teaches vocal jazz at Manhattan School of Music. Brenda has also completed all levels of certification in Somatic Voicework™, a respected approach to contemporary vocal training developed by Jeannie LoVetri.
These experiences allow Brenda to combine her extensive performance background with current, practical approaches to vocal development — helping students build technique while maintaining the natural joy and freedom of singing.
More Than Lessons — A Place to Perform
Brenda also loves creating opportunities for singers to share their talents. She has organized concerts and vocal showcases, both live and online, giving students a chance to build confidence, develop performance skills, and experience the excitement of performing for an audience.
For Brenda, singing is about much more than hitting the right notes. It’s about expression, confidence, connection, and joy.
Whether your dream is to pursue a career in music, prepare for an audition, strengthen your technique, or simply sing because it makes you happy, Brenda is here to guide you on your vocal journey — and help you discover just how much you can do with your voice.
