About
My service is more than "teaching art", but to really connect with the student to bring out their inner artist as well providing mentorship on steps, and to support the artist with their short and long term goals!
I love people! I am a leader, mentor, and I take pride in my students, their well-being, their achievements, and I truly care about providing support in reaching the goals they set out for themselves. I am self taught and love being a part of finding others' inner artist!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is to meet and greet with the student to get a feel for what they are looking for, (about 30 minutes and free of charge), and to view their portfolio and/or examples of their work to build a curriculum that includes the student's input. Then we discuss supplies, schedule and review the cost for the classes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught artist born with the gift of creativity! I love color and texture and have reviewed a multitude of techniques and developed my own way to create-I currently hold instructor led sessions at the Sugarloaf Arts and Crafts Festival every Spring and Fall and provide a Mobile Paint Party Experience for those who want to host a "Paint Night" at a venue of their choice!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing is 45$/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I've always loved to create-drawing, painting, Crafts, multimedia-all of these activities were self taught! I caught the bug in high school and have been a fanatic ever since! I had the awesome experience of attending a "Paint Night" event and I knew that's what I had to do! I developed a Mobile Paint Night experience and it evolved since then!
What types of students have you worked with?
All types! More recently it has been in group settings and I provide instructor led sessions at the Sugarloaf Arts and Crafts Festival since Spring of 2018. I have also provided Mobile Paint Night services since 2015.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My favorite event would be my paint sessions I give at the Sugarloaf events! It's so exhilarating to me when those who are unsure about taking the classes leave with a smile on their faces and a new spark of wanting to start painting as a hobby!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First and foremost it is a relationship that will evolve throughout your sessions so you maybneed to 'shop' for someone who you can feel comfortable with.
1) The teacher isn't there to tell you how to create but to bring out YOUR creativity.
2) A good art teacher makes you feel comfortable and encourages you to practice SELF-expression.
3) He/she will want you to think for yourself and make decisions and put a work of art together that belongs to you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals for taking these classes/lessons?
What medium did you want to explore? For example- acrylic, water color, oil?
How much time did you want to donate to these lessons ?
