I’ve been looking through the lens of a camera since I was 12 years old, always seeing things in a different way. All through high school and college I had my camera at hand.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Penn State my professional career took me down a slightly different path. Instead of making images, I was supervising the making of them growing into senior level advertising agency positions. In recent years, I’ve focused on giving back to the community working with non-profit organizations.
Everyday I learn more about my craft. I have completed the Professional Certification from the New York Institute of Photography.
And I always have my camera with me. In fact some of my
best images were of subjects I just happened upon in
my day to day life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk to my student to access theirs skill level, and their goals. Then from there we move on to find their passion.
