My experience working with the Instructor of Joy & Space, LLC has always being an enjoyable experience. After the yoga sessions I have attended with Joy & Space I am able to find relieved for my sore muscles from my strength training workouts. The instructor makes it easy to follow along. I wish I was able to attend more often.
Yuriko is a great instructor. Her class is very relaxing and also challenging but she provides you with alternative poses so it's good for all levels of ability. Great instructor and a great environment. I would definitely recommended.
I felt so much peace and no pressure. Yuriko has a great calming spirit which just exudes into her work.
Yuriko is a great yoga instructor. Her classes are challenging, but not overwhelming. Her style focuses on alignment, breathing, flow, and balance--she hits it all! She is friendly and approachable. Good for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. As a runner, I find her classes to be ideal for cross-training.

Yuriko took her first yoga class in college and came back to her practice in 2010. Her practice provided her with an opportunity to shift her mindset and to grow on and off the mat. Yoga has supported her through a major turning point in her life and that experience has motivated her to share yoga with others. One of the most important lessons she has learned from her practice is not to take herself too seriously. Yoga has helped her to accept who she is in this moment and let her poses come from that place.
