Symmetry Pilates Studio represents Ms. McLaughlin’s vision to create a comprehensive facility for Pilates instruction and overall body conditioning.

Based in West Chester, PA, Symmetry is a studio where the focus is not solely on the body, but also the mind and the spirit.

Symmetry Pilates Studio features customized, individual fitness and body conditioning as well as private mat classes for all levels of pilates practitioners.

Joey McLaughlin is the founder and owner of Symmetry Pilates Studio, as well as the principal instructor. A certified Pilates and yoga instructor, she brings years of experience and education to her teaching as well as an extensive background in body studies.

These years of study have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, body movement, and the connection between the body and the mind.

    I have taken pilates from Symmetry for 16 years. I cross train, and cannot say enough about how it has helped me feel strong, my posture, and how I carry myself. I will always take pilates from professionals in studios like Symmetry because they are highly trained unlike gym pilates. I am basically a pilates snob now due to my experience at Symmetry. :))

    I have been a client since moving to West Chester, and believe that Pilates has greatly improved my quality of life. My knees have been replaced and lower back has been an issue for years, all are much better due to Pilates. Joey and her staff are very conscientious of my physical condition and work hard with me to increase strength and flexibility.     If you are just starting out or looking for something different, I would recommend Symmerty Pilates Studio. I love working out with small groups, all are very friendly and encouraging. Each Instructor takes a personal interest in your needs and adjusts accordingly.
