Coach Matt gave me both the tools and the confidence to become a better baseball player, both physically and mentally. He has developed me into a much better fielder in only 6 sessions.

Coach Rowley, is incredibly knowledgeable in sports performance and baseball skill improvement. He provides very clear instructions on skill development and ones that are sustainable for years to come. He is encouraging and also has a positive outlook. Personally, my son has blossomed since joining Coach Rowleys programs and lessons. My son consistently receives compliments on his skill development for his age, especially with batting and improved speed. If you want the best in all around skill development for baseball, I would not look any further.

    Frequently asked questions

When starting with a new athlete, I like to learn as much information about them as possible. What makes them tick, how are they best motivated, where they are currently, where do they want to end up? With this information we work together and create a plan to work towards what they are looking to do.

I earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in exercise science from West Chester University where I played baseball and ran sprint events (set a few records) on the track and field team. The time I spent time working with both the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Texas Rangers as a minor league strength and conditioning coach were tremendous learning opportunities and awesome experiences that have helped with the work I do today.

I typically work in one hour sessions but can customize a package or plan depending on what you are looking for.

I got started in coaching while I was recovering from a shoulder surgery about fifteen years ago. I wanted to remain around the game while I did my rehab and I have been coaching baseball and speed training ever since.

I have worked with athletes across a wide range of ages, abilities and needs from 5 years old through college. I have experience running large group/camps and team activities, but also enjoy small group and individual sessions as well.

My daughter recently came home with a picture she made for me at school and I loved it. It made my day and was just awesome to see how proud of her work she was :)

1.) I believe that making a strong connection with whomever you choose to work with is incredibly important. Will they take the time to get to know you, find out more about you and what makes you tick? Figuring out the best match for you and how that person can help you.

2.) We cannot turn you into a big league prospect overnight. Realistic expectations and goals are important for both sides to have a grasp on so that everyone is on the same page

Think realistically about what your goals are for where you are at and then what your expectations from a coach will be
