About
I have a lifetime of experience as both a division 1 and semi pro basketball player, trainer, and I have been a coach at both the middle school and high school varsity levels. I love the game of basketball, and have spent the majority of life working to develop all the necessary skills to be the best player that I can be. Over the course of my time as a player, I learned how to develop from a wide range different basketball legends such as Dave Hopla, Herb Magee, and Bob Hurley just to name a few. With the right work ethic, I can help students develop into the players that they want to be.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Training will begin with a detailed footwork and shooting instruction to guage where the student is at in his/her development as a player.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a division 1 and semi pro basketball player. I learned from and have been coached by a diverse range of notable professional coaches and players. I have also coached at both the middle school and high school varsity levels in Allentown and Philadelphia.
How did you get started teaching?
Once my time as a player came to an end I became a high school history teacher. I have been coaching as long as I have been teaching, and get a great sense of fulfillment out of helping young players develop who love the game as much as I do.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with players from a wide array of backgrounds both culturally and economically. I have worked primarily with both middle school and high school students. I have worked with some players at the college level on an individual basis.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am currently working at an alternative school for at risk high school level students in Philadelphia. This year I started a basketball club for after school to help students develop their game. On the first day I corrected a players shooting technique by slightly adjusting his footwork, and he saw drastic improvement in his consistency almost immediately. Due to the improvement the players are seeing, my club attendance has increased every week since the beginning of the school year.
