About
My service stands out compared to other trainers by my care and approach to my clients. My goal is to help my clients become the best basketball player they can be. With my experience, knowledge, and dedication, I know I can help individuals improve their skills and achieve their goals.
I enjoy seeing my clients make improvements and achieve skills through hard work that they didn’t know they were capable of. If my client is hard working and is willing to put in the work, once they implement my drills, techniques, and study film, they will make fast improvements and get one step closer to their goals. If that is making the middle school, high school or college team or simply playing at the park or an indoor gym and helping their teams win, I enjoy guiding my clients to be the best player they can be.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My normal routine is to first talk to them to get to know them, what they want out of the training and their goals. Then I watch the new students shoot around for a few minutes. I like to observe their body language, the way they shoot, dribble and move across the court. After that I'll put them through a series of small drills. First is always ball handling and then shooting. Once I see how they do, I can pick the most important thing for them to work on that can help them and their team improve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in exercise science, I have been playing basketball since 1st grade, played on the middle and high schools teams as well as college. I have been a coach and trainer for the past 7 years.

How did you get started teaching?
I started coaching and training as a junior in high school. I was an assistant coach to a head coach who was very experienced. During the season he became ill and I had to step up as a head coach. From there I was able to get an average team to the championship round. Even though we lost, we overcame expectations and I realized that I could coach.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have trained students of all ages. Students as young as 10 and as old as 45 both male and female.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There was a player on my team this year who was not very skilled. He didn't have much experience and his confidence was very low. He needed work in almost every area of his game but I wanted to mainly help his shot and confidence to help the team. His form was very bad and I was able to help him fix it and make it a little consistent. In the last game of the season he played better defense and scored about 8 points which was a big improvement for him.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell the student to talk to the trainer and get a few sessions from him. Comfortability and improvement are two key things to have for a relationship between the trainer and student. Obviously the student should be listening to the trainer and work hard throughout the week. But there should be improvements if these things are being followed.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think how to achieve their goals, what level they're playing at, what teams they're playing on, and how to prepare for the week if that's their diet, schedule etc.
