Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With most students a basic review of the media and the elements of art is a good way to figure what they have done in the past. I also ask students to show me their work from prior lessons and then together we set a goal for the sessions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons out of my studio are small groups for adults and follow a coupon book system in order to give students maximum flexibility.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching art in some way for the last thirtyyears.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that your personality is compatible with the teacher’s style.
