ScotShot is dedicated to introducing new shooters to the safe, efficient handling of firearms, for all recreational and defensive purposes. We train experienced shooters to themselves become Instructors across a range of curricula developed ny the NRA and USCCA. We run group and private classes, and also develop longer tuition programs for individuals and families.
The most enjoyable part of teaching new shooters is seeling the tru empowerment it brings them, to be a positive force in their own lives. The most enjoyable part of certifying new instructors, is knowing that each one brings a unique perspective and so attracts students that others may not.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The key element is to understand the student's needs and the reason they decided wo begin shooting. These are often highly individual, but everything springs from that. We have male and female instructors, and run coed and women-only classes.
