I am a 15 year old high school student and I know the frustration of not being able to understand what you're learning in math class. I can help kids my age and younger with math using simple and understandable explanations instead of making it too complex. I have maintained a distinguished gpa ever since middle school and I have never failed a class.
Although I have just started, I enjoy seeing kid's faces light up with excitement once they understand a certain concept that they've been struggling on. I myself know that feeling all too well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with I new student I try to get to know them first (their name, hobbies, how they retain information, etc.). Then, I would ask them to present their work and tell them to explain what they already know about it. I would continue by finding where they need help and providing simple explanations and examples to help them understand the material.
